It's Summer term! We hope all of our children and families had a wonderful Easter!
This half term we are off to the farm! Our topic is about farms and amazing eggs!
Have a look at our topic overview...
Look out for our trip letter, and don't forget that any parent helpers will need their checks done through the office, so get your replies in quick! We can't wait to share a farm trip with the children!

Fairytale newsflash!! - Do YOU know who broke this chair? If you have any information, please let your teachers know! Thank you.
This half term we will be looking at two traditional tales ('Goldilocks' & 'The 3 billy goats gruff'), whilst also learning about and celebrating Spring, Mother's day and Easter.
In Autumn we looked at 'The Three Little Pigs' and our children are still re-enacting they tale! We wanted to explore more tales. This will give us further opportunities to re-enact, build props, link to music, science and problem solving. What an exciting half term.
Parents: Keep an eye on the diary dates! Mother day and Easter workshops coming up!!

This week we will be thinking about the celebration of Chinese New Year! Gong Zi Fa Cai!
Are you ready to learn about how they celebrate, dragon dances, lucky red, Chinese food? Let's make an aeroplane and fly to China!
All children have a chance to take home a book from our school/class library each week. Understandably, once a book is issued it will need to be returned before a new one is released. The children love looking through the different choice of books. I wonder what they will choose next?
Please return books and diaries on a Thursday ready for Fridays new book.
Our Cornerstones topics:
Spring 1: Why do you love me so much?
In this topic we will be thinking about 'Ourselves' and all the amazing things we can do and our 'Families'. We will be thinking about babies and how they need looking after as they grow. We shall be drawing pictures of our families and thinking about things we like to do together. Our main stories will be 'Guess how much I love you' and 'Love monster'.
A lovely, love and family-filled topic leading up to valentines day!
Autumn 1: How do buildings stay up?
Autumn 2: Why do leaves go crispy? (and Winter theme)
Hello and welcome to the Nursery page of our school website.
We look forward to working with you and your child as we progress throughout the year together. We understand that school nursery may be a daunting prospect, as for many it is the first time separating from parents/carers. Please don't worry, we do understand, and we have run successful Welcome2Nursery workshops and home visits to help ease the transition for all. We continue to offer parent workshops regularly throughout the year, where you are invited in to join your child with some activities.
If you would like to talk to us, please send us a message or wait at the end of the session until all children have been let out. Thank you for your support!
