Saturday 17 February
Solihull Fairtrade Trail

 

The Solihull Fairtrade Trail will be returning to Solihull Town Centre from Saturday 17 February until Sunday 4 March.

To solve the Fairtrade Trail you'll need to spot chocolate bars in shop windows and find the clues. The chocolate artwork used by the trail is all created by local schools

Fine and Local Food Fayre

Mell Square, High Street and Mill Lane, Solihull - 9.00am to 5.00pm

Sample the best of locally sourced food and produce from a range of top quality suppliers at this market, which is held on the third Saturday of each month.

 


Sunday 18 February
Hedge Laying

Brueton Park LNR - Times to be agreed

Get involved in hedge laying and help to create a living fence which encourages new growth.

Easter Egg Hunt

Elmdon Park, B92 9EY - 11.00am to 3.00pm

The Easter bunny has hidden clues around the park - crack the password and win a chocolate egg! You may even spot the Easter bunny as he hops around the park. Punch and Judy shows, face painting and other entertainment are also available.

Entrance cost £2.00 per child - other attractions including face painting can be paid for at Reception. Meet at the Tanhouse Farm Road car park entrance.

Bug Hunting

Dizzy Duck Race

Babbs Mill LNR, B37 6LN - Registration from 10.30am, event 11.00am to 12.30pm

You would have to be quackers to miss this one! Pick a duck and wish it luck as it races along the river. There are prizes for the first three to reach the finish line. This event is popular with visitors of all ages - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The event costs £1.00 per duck. Meet by the play area.
