Two Thirds of the Way Through Year 4...

Wow! It seems unbelievable that we are two thirds of the way through Year 4. Time is flying by as the children have been working really hard.

Next term our first topic is 'Bottoms, Burps and Bile.' This revolting sounding topic takes us on a voyage of discovery to find out how the inside of the human body works - feel free to do some background research! Some questions to answer...

  • Healthy options, sugary drinks and what effects do they have on our teeth?
  • What makes us windy?
  • Why is it important to have good hygiene at both ends?
  • Can you recognise an animal just by its pooh?

In R.E children will be learning more about Judaism and our JIGSAW learning is about Relationships. Watch this space for news of our new style music lessons!

Keep working on those times tables and related division facts - we want as many of our Year 4's as possible to have completed the 'Times Tables  Championship'. Congratulations to Oliver smiley, from Pankhurst, who is our first champion!

Dates for next term:

26th April: St George's Day (sponsered WALKATHON/MARATHON)

27th April: National Tell a Story Day

10th May: Year 4 Trip to the Think Tank (a letter went out on the last day of term)

As always thanks for your on-going support.

The Year 4 Team (Ms Whiting, Miss Ealing, Mrs Burt and Mrs Starzewska).
